Our Staff

Kara is a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Kara attended Wichita State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Signed Languages. She began her career in the hearing health industry in 2022 and has since completed dual licensure in both Kansas and Missouri. Kara is passionate about sharing in her patient’s journeys, patient education, custom-fitting hearing solutions, and helping individuals with hearing loss live full lives! When not at work, Kara enjoys playing golf, all things lake life, and spending time with family and friends.

Janesah is a Patient Care Coordinator, is a Lawrence local and attended Lawrence High School. She started working at Kaw Valley Hearing in 2026 and was drawn to the profession because she really likes the medical field and wanted to explore different parts, along with other providers with different professional backgrounds. She has also worked at the local hospital on the Med Surge unit and at a dentist’s office.

What Janesah loves most about saving hearing lives is the reaction on patients’ faces when they can finally hear clearly for the first time and all that they were missing before. She focuses on making sure every patient feels comfortable and leaves happy in her everyday work with patients.

Outside of saving hearing lives, Janesah loves hobbies such as spending time with her husband and son, as well as other family and friends. She enjoys playing co-ed kickball, softball and attending whatever sport her son is in at the time. During the fall, she loves to watch Chiefs football!
